It is the policy of Met-Net to support the maximum practical utilization of certified Minority/Women/Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (M/W/DBEs) by promoting diversity throughout our business practice. Met-Net accomplishes this is by making a good faith effort to utilize the services of certified M/W/DBEs throughout our normal business practice, allowing maximum opportunity for certified M/W/DBEs to participate as subcontractors and /or suppliers.
It is also the policy of Met-Net to support the maximum practical utilization of M/W/DBE's who have not yet received their certification, as frequently there are few vendors listed in databases for services under our NAICS code (517919).
Good faith efforts are made by searching M/W/DBE databases, and contacting resulting vendors to identify relevant scopes of work and requesting quotes for services and/or supplies we require. Two databases regularly searched for services and suppliers are www.paucp.com and www.dgs.state.ps.us. Met-Net also intends to partner with an M/W/DBE organization for assistance in locating M/W/DBEs.
